Life OK here goes. My legal name has always been VOLKMAR, but in school I had em all call me BILL. Got drafted in the Army NOV 66 and after returning 2yrs later to NJ, reenlisted for 18yrs more. Got married in 70, father of 3 and then divorced in 1990. Remarried to present wife Martha, THE BEST WOMAN A MAN ...Expand for more
COULD HAVE later that year and have been ever since. After leaving the Army a Staff Sergeant with a bunch of medals on my chest and having had bullets fly over my head, went into trucking (JBHUNT) cross country. Now over 2 million miles later, I'm about to retire for the second time with Martha in Seguin, Texas.

That red engine is in this 74 Mercedes and has been running great for over a year now. I think I took this picture in October 2012. Since then I added some daytime running light on the bottom of bumper now people can see
